About Me

As a professional drummer, I’ve always loved having the opportunity to share my ideas and skills with others around me. Teaching gives me the opportunity to do just that. I have taught drum-kit (with a 100% pass rate for Trinity College London and ABRSM) and led rhythm groups and workshops more than ten years in Kenya and the U.K. and it is always a privilege to support young people's musical development.

I am a versatile musician with expertise spanning Rock, Latin, Caribbean, Jazz, Classical, African music and many others. I provide a versatile learning experience rooted in a vast knowledge of global genres and I am passionate about bridging cultural sounds to help musicians thrive in any style.

​My upbringing and professional work in Kenya has provided me with a rich understanding of African rhythms and culture which feeds into my workshops. Making music and creating interesting content to inspire young drummers is my main priority.
